Meet Our September Employee Spotlight, Justin!

As an Advisor at America’s Choice Insurance Partners, Justin Sirmons’s career was inspired by his family. Having spent over a decade in an industry that didn’t afford him the family time he desired, he knew it was time for a change. Little did he know that this new path would lead him to a career in insurance, a field that not only allows him to prioritize his family but also offers continuous growth and personal development. Justin Sirmons has been named the Employee Spotlight for the month of September.

Who inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

There wasn’t one specific person who inspired me to have a career in insurance, however, my wife and kids are the ones who inspired the career change. After working in an industry that didn’t allow me the family time I wanted for over a decade, I knew it was time for something new, but I wasn’t sure what that would be. I wanted a career that would allow me to make my family a priority, and insurance certainly does that.

When you are at work, how do you motivate yourself?

Sales is a very easy career path to find motivation. The beauty of this industry is that you can easily measure success. I stay motivated by tracking my daily performance and pushing myself to perform better each and every day. I also find that I thrive in a competitive environment so I’m motivated by the success of my teammates to do even better.

In terms of success which accomplishments are you most proud of?

The progression of my career is what I’m most proud of. A year ago, I made a career change into an industry I knew very little about. Today, I take pride in how far I’ve come and the knowledge I continue to gain within the insurance industry.

Who are some of your biggest inspirations/motivations?

My biggest inspiration and motivation is my family. My wife and I have three kids and every choice we make is about being able to provide a better life for them. I am grateful to work in an industry where I can provide value to my client’s lives and make my family proud.
